The benefits of an Oconee County government job

With 42 jobs currently unfilled, Oconee County is changing its strategy to find workers for the future.  Amanda Brock, the county administrator, Oconee County government realizes that selling a young person on the county’s benefits’ package is far from adequate.  Brock explained to Seneca Rotarians that young people simply are not concerned about retirement or the future when they’ll need health insurance.  She announced that the number one inter-county government priority is now employee salaries and employee retention.
