Teachers learn about wildlife and land management ecology

K-12 teachers from the Upstate, including Oconee County, have learned during their summer recess about wildlife and land management ecology from Clemson faculty.  The field trip for the 14 teachers was made possible by a grant from the Duke Energy Foundation.  In a workshop at the Bad Creek Outdoor Classroom, the teacher studied eco-systems, learned about the natural history of the Jocassee Gorges, discussed methods to research different animals, and toured the Bad Creek hydroelectric facility.
