Talking by-pass building, as traffic solution

Motorists’ patience is frequently tested by 123 backups at Clemson.  Motorist (and home builder) Tom Markovich may have the solution, although it would be expensive and take time.  It would be a new highway for traffic, especially thru traffic, to avoid 123 between College Avenue and the Seneca River Bridge on the Oconee side.  He recently called on the Oconee County Council to lay aside thoughts of a regional greenway to instead focus on a worsening motror vehicle snarl through Clemson.  Markovich’s comments are being aired on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
