A West Union stand against hate

West Union Town Council has taken a position in favor of “The Clementa C. Pinckney Hate Crimes Act.”  It’s a response to the racial-inspired shooting deaths several years ago at a Charleston church.  A motion, followed by a 3-0 vote, puts the West Union elected leaders on record as urging the governor and the state’s lawmakers to approve H. 3014.
