Suspect arrested

An arrest is reported in the Oconee Sheriff’s Office investigation of a stabbing last weekend in a home in rural Oconee.  Reports indicate Eric Raymond Lavoie has been arrested on charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.  The victim in the case is described as a man who intervened when 51-year-old Lavoie allegedly pulled a knife on his wife during an argument at their home on Misty Hollow Lane.
