Support for Kathy Maness

On Saturday, the day of a large Republican rally near Westminster, roadside campaign signs popped up in various parts of Oconee in support of a Lexington woman for state superintendent of education.  Kathy Maness is a former teacher, now the head of the Palmetto State Teachers Association. Today Maness is to receive the endorsement of the woman she aspires to succeed, the retiring Molly Spearman.  Republican voters June 14 will be asked to choose among six people for the superintendent nomination.
