Sunday parade called off

City of Walhalla made the following announcement this afternoon:

“After reviewing the forecast for Sunday, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Christmas Parade. While we understand the disappointment this may cause, the safety of our participants and the families coming to view are our priority.

 

We are currently making preparations for a virtual parade. Additional details will be emailed to all registered entries this afternoon; and the “parade” should be aired next weekend.

 

We appreciate your continued support and understanding.”
