State paving plans cover next two years

The opportunity for South Carolinians to comment on the state’s proposed road pavement work the next two years runs through June 14.  There are a couple of ways to look at what DOT has in store for 2022-23 and 2023-24.  A copy of the press release, along with an interactive map, is available at https://bit.lySCDOTPavementImprovement.  To help those without internet, a hard copy of the release and supporting information are available in Greenville at the offices of the SC Appalachian Council of Governments.  For Oconee County, DOT proposes work on SC 11, the Rochester Highway, the Pickens Highway, Burnt Tanyard Road, W. Cherry Road, Return Church Road, and Oconee Creek Road.
