State meth cases brought to Oconee courtroom

Over two days this month, an Oconee courtroom filled with state prosecutors and defense attorneys involved in what’s called the Las Senoritas methamphetamine trafficking case.  The resident circuit judge, Scott Sprouse of Walhalla, heard pleas and motions in proceedings involving attorneys from the office of Attorney General Alan Wilson.  Also, in attendance was Peggy Self, clerk of court for the state grand jury.
