Smaller bond denied for Seneca businessman

An Oconee General Sessions judge denied a defense motion yesterday to reduce the bond for a Seneca businessman awaiting trial on multiple charges.  A court officer said Demetrius Campbell, owner of Clutch’s Gym, was returned to jail.  He faces charges of kidnapping, domestic violence high and aggravated, pointing a firearm, assault and battery third degree, and obstruction of justice.  Bond remains at $150 thousand on all charges, except obstruction.  For obstruction of justice, Campbell faces an additional $75 thousand bond.  A trial date has not been announced.
