Seneca police quarters to be moved in 2023

In 2023, when Seneca marks 150 years of incorporation, the police can likely look forward to a new headquarters.  Part of the city’s industry complex on Shiloh Road, adjoining Utica, is under renovation to be the new home of the police department headquarters.  Once the chief, his staff, and the officers re-locate, their section of the former city hall downtown will allow for the expansion of the municipal court.  Will headquarters at the far east side of the city make difficult for officers to do their work?  Chief Casey Bowling says, “No, sir!  Our officers patrol our streets 24 hours a day.  They do not wait for a call at the office.  We will also still have a downtown office.”
