Seneca pays tribute to Africans Amercian in the Arts

For the first time, Hartsville, South Carolina’s Livingston Winston Thomas Jr. brings his artistry to the Upstate starting tomorrow and continuing through the end of next month.  Twenty-eight of his works will be featured at Seneca’s Bertha Lee Strickland Cultural Museum on South Second Street.  The title of the exhibition:  “Spectrum Unleashed: Black and White Stories, Colorful Journeys.”  Also on display will be a crafted doll collection of Simpsonville resident Sonya Marie Haggan.  The exhibitions are free and open to the public and tours can be scheduled online at:  www.arthistoryculture.org/register.
