Seneca lawsuit threat to be discussed in private on Monday

The threat by Seneca to go forward with a legal challenge to the sewer board makeup will send two of the potential defendants into closed meetings on Monday for legal advice.  Both the Walhalla City Council and the board of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority, in separate special meetings, are scheduled to hear from their legal advisers.  As the result of a Seneca Council meeting recently, the prospects for that city to ask a judge to order the board re-alignment appeared to be stronger than ever, although Councilman Moore’s motion did leave open the possibility for negotiations.
