Seneca closer to filing its legal challenge

Seneca City Council is closer this morning to mounting its legal challenge of the makeup of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority.  It’s a dispute over voting clout within the JRSA policy board of commissioners.  Council returned to an open proceeding after about one-hour behind closed doors last night and, without dissent, approved a Dana Moore motion that gives Seneca attorneys and staff authority to file suit.  Short of that, there’s some wiggle room, as the city council will make itself open to negotiations with the key words “if possible.”
