Seneca, a safe city to call home

A national online outfit that studies FBI crime data to rank cities for safety is recognizing Seneca as one of South Carolina’s top 20 safest places to live.  The honor from SafeWise is considered an accomplishment that the city police chief, Casey Bowling, is proud of.  In new rankings, according to the city, Seneca climbed 12 spots to land at #20.  The “safest” cities rankings are intended to highlight cities with low crime rates and to stimulate conversation and actions about making cities and communities safer.
