Ruth May greets Westminster voters

As long as there are no write-in votes that would make a difference, a 17-year resident of Westminster is positioned to win an un-expired seat next month on her city council.  In her first try at elective politics, Ruth May is the only ballot candidate November 8 to complete the term of office that opened with the death of Yousef Mefleh.  Yesterday May greeted members of the public during an occasion at the Westminster Depot.  When asked what kind of councilwoman she’ll be, May told us, “I believe I’m going to do my best to work with everybody on the committee to make Westminster proud of me.”
