Rock the Ranch is back

If Charlie Stancil were alive today, he’d likely smile at the thought that his ranch arena in Snow Creek community was again hosting musical entertainment.  After a two-year hiatus, Rock the Ranch returns to the Charlie B. Arena Saturday, June 4.  Proceeds benefit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Shriners Hospital for Children.  This year the festival crews honor the life and memory of their friend, Michael Gray, who died in 2015.  Back in the 1960s-’70-s, the Stancils’ hosted music and dance events–such as at the Chicken Shack in Seneca and the outdoor festivals at their Snow Creek ranch.  The festivals featured the Marshall Tucker Band, Fleetwood Mac, and Black Oak Arkansas, among others.  June 4 acts will include the Vegabounds, Ploma Drive, and Britt Moore, among others.  Pre-sale tickets are $25 dollars; the day of, $30 dollars.
