Reminder: There’s a public health clinic in Walhalla

A sign adorned in Clemson University colors appeared yesterday and is a reminder that, inside a county-owned building, there’s a public health clinic in Walhalla.  The Clemson University Joseph F. Sullivan operation is available to those in medical needs on Fridays.  Amanda Brock, county administrator, hopes there’ll be more use in that building on a block between S. Broad Street and Booker Drive.  For many years, the building housed a state-run county health department until its services were moved to Seneca and Anderson.  District Two county councilman Matthew Durham says there should be more attention to the fact that the Walhalla clinic exists.
