Ramey succeeds Parris in the chairman’s role

Brian Ramey of Westminster sought to disabuse his Joint Regional Sewer Authority colleagues that he’ll need to hold a gavel to conduct JRSA meetings.  But the gavel, in effect, rests in the hands of the Westminster mayor as he was the choice yesterday to succeed Walhalla’s Scott Parris as chairman.  Parris, the Walhalla utilities director, says he no longer has the time to chair JRSA meetings, although he did agree to serve as vice-chairman.
