Push pin appears to have been attack weapon

The Oconee Sheriff says his investigators believe a push pin clasped between an attacker’s knuckles was used this morning on the Poplar Springs Road.  According to Sheriff Crenshaw, the victim is seeking medical attention for what do not appear to be serious injuries.  “Our investigation is continuing,” he said.  Crenshaw says the victim and suspect had a prior relationship and the suspect came to the victim’s home this morning and, as the sheriff put it, “begins to punch the victim about the face and head with what appears to have been a push pin clasped between the suspect’s knuckles.”
