Pursuing housing for the low income in Seneca

A home builder, Mercy Housing Southeast of Atlanta, is targeting Seneca’s E. North First Street to build low-income houses for families, seniors, and those with special needs.  Mercy Housing next month will ask Seneca Planning Commission for a zoning change to accommodate the homes, and a hearing takes place the night of February 20 at city hall.  The properties front EN 1st between the Hampton Inn and Suites and a former used car lot.
