Public meeting for Fair Play area sewer

“We want and need feedback from the community.”  That’s the message that Chris Eleazer is sending to southern Oconee County, in announcing that on June 28 the public is invited to one or both information meetings for the Fair Play Area Sewer Basin Plan.  On that Wednesday, at 3:45 pm and at 5:45 pm, there will be drop-in style meetings that’ll include surveys, both paper and digital, for people to fill out.  Eleazer is the executive director of the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority.  The JRSA, along with Oconee County, is examining future sewer potential in southern Oconee and western Anderson county area.  “This preliminary discovery meeting is intended to learn from the public as well as to educate the community.”
