Promising development for Seneca recreation

Oconee school trustees have yet to vote, and the administration has not made a formal recommendation.  But the dye appears to be cast for Seneca to be offered the city’s middle school complex, once the replacement middle school opens later this year.  Dr. Thorsland, district superintendent, last night announced that Seneca officials have been told the city may plan to use the athletic facilities starting as early as the fall; however, Thorsland qualified his statement by saying it’s possible that the dollar value of the complex will be such that the district may want financial compensation.
