Program set for AQD’s annual meeting

A group that believes in responsible growth has arranged for three officials to serve as guest speakers at the Advocates for Quality Development annual meeting in Oconee County.  In the lineup of speakers will be Alan Stuart of Duke Energy, who will discuss the potential for expanding the Bad Creek hydro plant.  From Oconee County government:  Amanda Brock, county administrator, and Paul Cain, county councilman, will discuss growth-related challenges–especially the surge of subdivision applications.  AQD’s annual meeting will be 10 o’clock Saturday morning, November 5 at the Keowee Key Event Center.
