Price tag for a sewer master plan

In front of Oconee’s policymakers for sewer today is a proposition to allow the executive director to negotiate a deal with Weston & Sampson engineers to do a “Central Oconee County Sewer Master Plan” using the same methodology as the Fair Play Area Sewer Basin Plan.  The end game apparently is to remove politics and replace them with what’s called “a consistent countywide assessment and recommendation to appropriately plan for growth as well as infrastructure location and sizing for the next 20 years.”  No more than $307,800 is to be paid the engineers, along with a contingency of $10 thousand.
