Prediction front-running GOP hopefuls to appear in Oconee

Jim Mann believes he can confidently predict that at least two of the Republican candidates for president will make Oconee County stops during the run-up to the state’s early preference primary election in February.  And the two, he told us, are apt to be frontrunners.  At this time Mann says he’s not at liberty to say which ones.  In part, due to the fact that South Carolinian Nikki Haley has shown strength for her party’s nomination, you can expect that she and her opponents, as Mann put it, will be crisscrossing the state from the Golden Corner of Oconee to the low country’s Beaufort County — besides the state’s largest cities — Columbia, Charleston, and Greenville.
