Precaution to avoid being concussed

Tonight is another night for high school football in the form of Friday night lights.  But personnel from Prisma Health are cautioning football players and their loved ones to be cautious as possible to avoid a jarring accident that can leave a player with a concussion.  Dr. Jeff Holloway, a Prisma sports medicine physician, discussed concussions, their severity, and the time it normally takes for a child or an adult to recover.  The attention created by the concussion suffered recently by a Miami Dolphins quarterback prompted Prisma Health to assemble Holloway and others for a panel concussion discussion.  Holloway’s comments can be heard today on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
