Post-COVID there will be an Apple Festival luncheon

If we are talking South Carolina watermelon crop, is it too early to anticipate Oconee County’s annual crop of apples.  Traditionally, it is celebrated Labor Day week.  And, for the first time since COVID-19 gripped the planet, there will be an Apple Festival Rotary Luncheon, arranged by the city’s Rotary Club, to coincide with Apple Festival Week.  Rotarian Sam Dickson says the plan is to have the luncheon and recognize the citizen of the year.  Dickson is in the process of arranging a speaker.
