Police clock fleeing motorist at 100 MPH

A 30-year-old Greenville man was jailed Friday morning in Oconee County, the subject of a police chase around 1 am Friday on highway 11 that reached speeds, the police say, of 100 miles an hour.  It ended when the car, reported to have been stolen in Westminster, wrecked in brush on the side of 11 near the Collins Road.  Authorities list the following charges against Ryan Dustin Beheler:  possession of stolen vehicle; resisting arrest; operating motor vehicle without license; driving under the influence; larceny; disregard stop sign; unlawful U-turn; open container; and failure to stop for a blue light.
