Parts of Pickens County hit by an EF2

Here’s the assessment made by the National Weather Service at Greer of the storm that hit parts of Six Mile and the area around the city of Pickens on Wednesday night.  The NW’s Scott Krentz says it was an EF2 that struck at 8:52 pm, lasted 14 minutes, covered six miles and a width of one-quarter mile, resulted in minor injuries to three people.  However, in some spots, heavy property damage.
