Paddles will splash at Lake Jocassee

The first day of October–Saturday, October 1–has been selected to be an annual event in which money is raised to protect, preserve, and improve the Devil’s Fork State Park at Lake Jocassee.  It’s called Paddle Splash, an event for regional paddlers as part of the Southeast Paddle Sports Championship Series. The fun family event encourages paddlers of all ages, as long as they paddle a non-motorized watercraft.  In the past, the Lake Jocassee Paddle Splash has attracted between 75-100 paddlers.  To register and more details:  www.paddleguru.com/races/LakeJocasseePaddleSplash2022
