Opening flick scene at Seneca landmark

A small film maker chose an iconic Seneca location for a scene this week of a movie that’s to receive Amazon distribution.  Ken Vickery, whose family operated, perhaps, the last full-service gas station in the area, confirms that Vickery’s former Texaco was used as the scene for the opening shot of “On the Run” – a flick that will have a Zombie component to it.  Lead actress:  Tabitha Jordan of Walhalla. The spot for the filming—Seneca’s N. Fairplay and Railroad streets, for decades, was a full-service gas station — the former Gaines and Land and later Vickery’s Texaco where the Vickerys pumped gas for elderly women not enamored of the switch to you-pump stations.
