One dead in wreck near Townville

The Oconee coroner will release the name of a traffic fatality that occurred this morning near Townville.  So far, she has bee3n identified as a 67-year-old Westminster woman involved in what the state patrol called a head-on crash on SC 24 near Nally Valley Lane.  That accident was reported around 7:15 this morning to Oconee 9-1-1. The name of the deceased is being held until the coroner’s office is able to notify her family.
