Officials welcome feedback on a new Oconee sewer plan

Even before the official start of a presentation last night, a Westminster area man was quick to point out to an outside planning consultant where he thinks new piped sewer should go.  Looking at a county map, he pointed to the inside a triangular area within the county’s largest municipalities:  Seneca, Walhalla, and Westminster.  And he pointed to the southern end of the county where he’d rather not see sewer.  Whatever your opinion an outside engineering service on behalf of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority wants to hear from Mr. and Mrs. Oconee.  If you can’t make one of this month’s open houses for what’s called “The Central Basin Sewer Planning Study” there are ways to register comments thru a website survey.
