Oconeean part of bridge repair crew

A South Carolina DOT worker from Oconee, Matthew Huller, was part of a crew that repaired the pilings on a Liberty Highway bridge over Twelve Mile River.  Huller and the rest of the crew removed and replaced old, rusted bracings, and re-inforced steel pilings that, over the years, had rusted and deteriorated.  Their efforts are told in the fall edition of “The Connector” — a publication of the state DOT.  The article includes photographs of the crew on the job.
