Oconeean leads in local and state crime-fighting

A member of the Oconee Sheriff’s Office is recognized as a leader in crime stopping programs both locally and in the state.  Helen Westmoreland directs the Oconee Crimestoppers.  She’s also the current leader of the statewide program which numbers 12 programs.  On this Saturday morning’s ‘Community Soundoff’, Westmoreland discusses the program, how it works, how it can be activated, and how it will pay cash rewards for the right information that helps solve a crime.
