Oconeean charged with multiple animal offenses

A 29-year old Oconee man faces multiple charges of ill treatment of animals and animal abandonment as the result of his arrest late last night by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office.  Simeon Jacob Nix was named in warrants after two sheriff’s officers said they responded to a complaint and went to a Little River Lane home in the vicinity of Flat Shoals and Tamassee communities and found pit bull terriers abandoned and denied necessities of life.
