Oconee business holdup traced to Greenwood County suspect

The armed robbery of a business near Seneca last summer is traced by the sheriff’s office to a suspect in the Greenwood County town of Hodges.  The sheriff’s office yesterday announced the arrest of Pierre Dimitrius Curtis Lipford.   Thirty-one year old Lipford is charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon July 2 at Advance America.  A man entered the loan store, threw a bag at an employee, and demanded the bag be filled.  He then ran out of the store.  Lipford was jailed in Oconee Sunday afternoon.
