Nursing care to cost more locally
Lila Doyle, formerly operated by Prisma Health Oconee Memorial, will charge its residents more in 2023 for semi-private and private room accommodations. A notice on the visitor’s door to the 120-bed facility, above the name of Brent Thatcher, executive director, reads: “Lila Doyle Post-Acute Care’s private pay nursing home rate will change to $300.00 a day for a semi-private room and $400.00 a day for a private room effective January 1st 2023. We value all our Residents and understand the cost for Private pay is an important topic. Due to ongoing changes in healthcare, and the increasing needs of our community, we have made the decision to raise rates in our facility.”
