Nuisance animal trapping at a Clemson creek

The state has contracted with the USDA to trap what are called nuisance animals inside the right of way adjacent to Clemson’s Tottie’s Place, a small park that borders the Ashley Dearing Park.  A Clemson announcement states the traps will be submerged in water and signs placed to mark their locations.  The traps are considered dangerous and members of the public should not enter the water or allow any pets in the water in that area.  Once the traps are removed, a follow-up notification will be made. If you have a question or concern, contact the Clemson city engineering department.
