Northeast Georgia employer moving operations to California

A company with operations in both Toccoa and Lavonia, Georgia is closing its doors for a cross-country re-location.  The MagnaFlow Group plans to close the two locations December 31 and then consolidate operations to its headquarters at Oceanside, California.  Toccoa WNEG and Lavonia WLHR quote Brittany Ivey, President CEO of the Stephens County Development Authority, as saying a job fair will be arranged in Lavonia to help find new work for Magna Flow’s displaced workers.
