No public action following closed-door get together

At their rare Friday afternoon meeting, the Oconee County Council removed the one and only discussion item from its agenda.  Under discussion items, at the county attorney’s request, the council deleted discussion of grant and performance agreements benefiting Akasol Inc. (Borg Warner acquired) “Project EVPack-Oconee.”  The councilmen later convened a private meeting for the following four items:  1. Receive legal advice and discuss contractual matters related to future sewer infrastructure funding and support. 2. Discussion regarding an Economic Development matter (Project Ship). 3. Discussion regarding an Economic Development matter (Project Parallel). and 4. Discuss a potential contractual matter related to Golden Corner Commerce Park.”  After re-convening to an open meeting, the council took no votes.
