No mediation decision, as yet

A party to the potential for a lawsuit by Seneca indicates that a decision has yet to be received from the private mediation proceeding of three weeks ago.  Though the mediator convened a proceeding to try to resolve differences between Seneca and two other municipal members of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority, if there should be an agreement and that agreement call for change in the JRSA board of commissioners, public votes would then be required, according to a trusted legal course of 101.7/WGOG NEWS.  We spoke with Jay Bender of Columbia, a news media attorney.  His comments are being aired today on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
