New home development ceremony

A new home development that’s changing the landscape along Poplar Springs Road near West Union will cut the ribbon Wednesday for the project titled, “Poplar Ridge/Liberty Communities.”  Dari McBride, president of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce, says the public is invited to the free event at 11 Wednesday morning which will include a chili bar and the chance to tour the model.
