New COVID-19 booster this fall

By late September, a new and upgraded COVID-19  booster will arrive.  And officials say it is intended to protect against the current circulating strains of the virus.  Current strains are a reality, as Westminster’s only general physician, Dr. Billy Campbell, says last week his office saw three new COVID cases, one severe enough to admit the patient.  The new booster is said to be an updated one and, according to reports, will be followed by a second vaccine designed for adults 60 and older.
