Near Westminster, motorcycle stolen this week

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in a stolen motorcycle investigation.

 

Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to an address on Brock Road near Westminster Tuesday afternoon in regards to reports of a stolen motorcycle, a 2003, 150th Anniversary Edition, Harley-Davidson FXST.  The Harley-Davidson is neon green with orange flames.

 

The motorcycle was stolen from the residence on Brock Road sometime between 8pm on Monday of this week and 1:30pm yesterday.  Information on the stolen motorcycle was then entered into the National Crimes Information Center database.

 

Earlier this morning, the motorcycle was recovered on Midnight Lane, which runs off of Mauldin Mill Road and Highway 123, near the Richland Community.  Upon its recovery, information on the stolen motorcycle has been removed from NCIC.

 

Investigators are currently seeking information on who is responsible for stealing the motorcycle.  Investigators would also like to thank the public for tips that were received that led to the recovery of the motorcycle.
