Motorist visibility at question during “violent” crash

A factual allegation contained within an Oconee County damage lawsuit accuses Oconee County and the South Carolina DOT of negligence – the result of a car accident last year that caused multiple injuries.  A suit, on behalf of Oconee resident Kathryn C. Grant contends that, at the time of an April 2021 accident at a highway 76 intersection – and this is language from the claim – “vegetation had completely overgrown the stop sign rendering it impossible for a motorist to see. The aforementioned collision occurred as a result of Oconee County’s and SCDOT’s actionable negligence and gross negligence.”  The plaintiff side requests a jury trial and damages to be determined by a jury.
