Motorcycle crash fatal to Liberty man

A late night motorcycle accident near the Anderson County town of Pendleton took the life of 25-year old Liberty resident, Christian Brewer.  The state patrol reports there were no other vehicles involved.  Deputy Coroner Brent Simpson says Brewer died of a head injury secondary to blunt force trauma when his bike hit a utility pole.  He was not wearing a helmet.  Investigation revealed Brewer’s motorcycle was westbound on Old Greenville Highway to Pendleton.  Apparently he lost control after it “dipped” off a newly-paved section of the roadway into an unpaved opposite lane.  According to the deputy coroner, Brewer lost control when he tried to maneuver the motorcycle back onto the paved section.
