Minor fire quickly stopped

A small fire this morning at a nursing facility near Seneca was quickly stopped this morning, with the help of an employee who activated a fire extinguisher.  The fire at Seneca Health and Rehabilitation on highway 59 occurred in the back part of the facility, according to Chief Caudill of the Seneca Fire Department.  The small fire was traced to an electric short in an attic above a storage room.  Because the facility serves an elderly population, Caudill says his department took what happened seriously.  One employee is said to have suffered minor smoke inhalation.
