Midnight hour fatal accident in Clemson

A 20-year-old Mount Pleasant woman has died at a Greenville hospital, after a midnight hour accident yesterday in Clemson.  Chief Deputy Coroner Wilson of Pickens County said the accident that cost the life of Caroline Deer occurred at Old Stone Church Road near Ridgecrest Drive.  According to the coroner’s account, the vehicle went off Old Stone Church Road and overturned, and Deer was ejected.  One other person inside the vehicle has been released from hospital care.  The cause and manner of the 12:35 am accident yesterday is being investigated by the coroner’s office and the Clemson police.
